The Pineapple Takeover

As a child, gowing up in Trinidad and Tobago, I ate a lot of pineapples. I loved, and still do today, love the aroma of a ripened pineapple and what walking into a kitchen with an obviously ripened pineapple centerpiece will do to the senses.

Fast-forward to today and the power of the fruit is more evident than ever! Clothing, accessories, floaties, mêmes, quotes, logos, toys, and of course, home decor.

I found these beauties at HomeSense

It's a sweet situation with the Pineapples taking over. Walmart has  this darling glass pineapple water/juice jar, and plastic Insulated cups.

I wonder what fruit will be the takeover fruit next season, or next year...will peaches have the same appeal, how about the husky exterior of a coconut? Who knows....how about you. which fruit do you think do you think will be the takeover fruit next??
