Always be Thankful👍🏼

Thanksgiving 2018 has come and gone another year where we were able to celebrate as a family. Never forgetting to always be thankful every day of our lives and not just on one particular day which was basically celebrated November 6th 1879 between the indigenous peoples in Canada.

Canadian Thanksgiving history teaches us that the Indigenous people's in Canada have a history of celebrating a fall Harvest that predates the arrival of European settlers. Sir Martin Frobisher and his crew are credited as the first Europeans to celebrate a Thanksgiving ceremony in North America in 1578.

We'll like to also reiterate that West Indians do not celebrate Thanksgiving, however  seeing that everything that happens in North America makes its way to other parts of the world as "the thing to do" it will not be long before the West Indies will be celebrating some sort of Thanksgiving. And will it surprise us?  Nope!
