St. Croix Food & Wine Week
I just found out(I know, where have I been), that every April St. Croix is host to a phenomenal Food & Wine Week and A Taste of St. Croix. Can you imagine, locally & internationally renowned chefs, foodies from far and wide, winos(don't get all crazy on me now), and everyone else who just converge onto the island to indulge their knowledge, sights, and senses in cuisine? I surely can imagine it all.
Darlings, be aware of St. Croix's culinary reputation as a culinary destination and don't take it for granted, but it has steadily increases yearly, and all with great reason.
I'm not lucky enough to be there to partake of the festivities, but if you are be sure to attend, the very least one of the following:
- Cork and Fork Dinners - $1000./plate. Intimate dinners, prepared by celeb chef Sam Choy of Hawaii and the Food Network's Robyn Almovodar, which are enjoyed in local homes in and around the island.
- Sunset BBQ
- Wine in the Warehouse
- Cuisine on the Green Noon - $200/golfer; $800/foursome; $75 for non-golfers. Non-golfers are invited to tour the tastings with or without a golf cart. Contact the Pro Shop at 340-778-5638 or Kevin Ferris at firstname.lastname@example.org for Reservations.
- Hawaiian Caribbean Fusion
- Gourmet Vintner Dinner
- A Taste of St. Croix
- For tickets to any of the following, you can purchase them here
